Members of the WHO in Libreville point out that they are strengthening the fight against the epidemic outbreak and trying to prevent the spread of the disease.

In 1995, the Ebola virus killed more than 250 people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the current outbreak is the third recorded in Gabon since 1994.
